2017 WRAPUP

DIVING GATORS PLACE FIRST IN NKSL
Every year we wonder if we will have enough kids for our diving team and every year we have a great turnout. This year was no exception. The coaches had their hands full with new kids old and young. The kids worked hard and got better with each week. The team had great chemistry and started to gel together with early morning practices and Tuesday night meets. Each meet the diver’s scores went up. We went into the meets confident that we could go in and give the swim team a lead. We did that except for one when we lost to Florence by just three points. We refocused and looked towards the All-Star Meet and Champ Meet. The kids dove awesome with several individual winners along the way. The biggest thing was every team member contributed to our winning the Champ Meet over the other teams. We scored 177 points over second place team Florence which totaled 112 points. The season was awesome and the kids dove great! We are so proud of the kids and how hard they practiced. Thanks to the parents for getting their kids to practice and to the meets and helping us run the meets. We couldn’t have won champ meet without each and every one of you.   Coach Evan, Coach Karly, Coach Diana and Coach Bernie

SWIMMING GATORS PLACE THIRD IN NKSL
Another summer is in the books!  Five Seasons Gators placed in the same position as last summer!  The hard work of our entire team paid off despite missing numbers in some boys age groups.  The Gators really stepped up and gave it their all!  LOADS  of time was dropped, MANY team records were broken, those are in the process of being changed so keep your eyes on the record board!! Our 8 & under girls and boys were phenomenal, all the way up to our 15-18 girls relay team of:. Coach Tori Clark, Addyston Stansel, Coach Meghan Greenwell, Sophie Skinner who broke a LEAGUE record in the 200 freestyle relay!    Not to mention having TWO high point winners, congrats to Abby Carnes and Sophie Skinner!    The ALL STAR meet went just as well.  Although this meet is not scored, we had huge time drops and a lot of fun - a great way to represent All Star Gators!!  The NKSL is all about making memories that will last a lifetime and this was certainly the case, your Coaching Staff wants to say THANK YOU to the swimmers and the parents who volunteer countless hours to make it all happen!  Don't forget the team Banquet on the 27th of  August, at 4:30!  Looking forward to Summer 2018!!  Come out for the team next summer, (we really need 11-12, 13-14, 15-18 boys!!) make some memories and have some fun with us!!  Happy Summer Five Seasons!!  Coach Jerri, Coach Meghan, Coach Chloe, Coach Robbie and Coach Tori
